These are the UNofficial Records!! Some of these may be a little less "boatmanlike" but they're still quite prestigious.

Fastest To Sink

Jeremy Kelley - hull #176 - Pond Treader - Feb 17, 2008

He took out his boat "Pond Treader", hull #176 on a clear Sunday afternoon for it's first official sail. It'd been down to the water once for a float test for just a few minutes, but the mast snapped so no sailing. On this recent fateful day, after sailing for about 15 minutes, he hit a log and started taking on water. He started heading back to shore when his dagger board hit another log, more water. Finally after picking up speed (and more water) he hit a 3rd log and cracked the centercase loose enough for water to start gushing in. Time from pushing off to sinkage? About 30 minutes. The front airbox was completely dry and held the front of the boat up out of the water, but unfortunately, the rear airboxes had some leaks and took on enough water for it to go under. See a picture of it here. More pictures from that day can be found here.
